Dr. Abraham J. Lopez is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in performing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for conditions across the age span. In addition, Dr. Lopez has acquired extensive experience in psychotherapy / counseling and sees patients struggling with depressive and anxious disorders. Individual therapy has been found to be empirically validated for many mental health concerns.

In addition to this practice, Dr. Lopez sees patients at local rehabilitation facilities, memory clinics, and hospitals for individuals who have undergone surgery, are enduring a terminal illness, or struggle with neurological disorders like Dementia and Parkinson's Disease.

Dr. Lopez graduated from New Mexico State University with an undergraduate degree in psychology. He completed a master’s degree in media psychology from Fielding Graduate University and later obtained a second master’s degree in clinical psychology from Saybrook University.

Dr. Lopez completed a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology from Saybrook University. His internship took place with Lone Star Psychology Internship Consortium, which provided extensive training in psychological and neuropsychological assessments, and providing psychotherapy to various age groups and populations.

Dr. Lopez completed his neuropsychological post-doctoral training at McKinney Neuropsychology working with the pediatric population and at Neuropsychological Consultants working with the geriatric population, both in the Dallas, Texas area. Dr. Lopez’ additional training includes a certificate in cognitive behavioral therapy and the completion of a master psychopharmacology program at the Neuroscience Education Institute.

Dr. Lara is a Psychiatry resident physician who graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Food Science. For her medical education she attended UAG School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. She did a one-year internship in San Antonio, Texas, rotating through various hospitals that include Methodist Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital, and Nix Hospital. She has extensive experience in psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology.

Dr. Lara participates at LarLo Behavioral Services as a clinical consultant and also overseeing daily practice operations. She is a great resource to our patients in advising about psychopharmacological treatment and health related conditions that could be contributing to psychological disorders. She actively participates in medical record review and diagnostic imaging review to better understand diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.

Sabrina Barrios is a clinical mental health graduate and is currently pursuing her certification for her LPC-I. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and decided to pursue her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling there as well. Sabrina has experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and other diagnoses. Upon completing her LPC-I hours, Sabrina would like to pursue a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Sabrina is currently participating as a psychometric technician for psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.
